To start, you will need:
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup self rise flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1 stick butter
- 1 big can peaches
Melt butter in casserole dish. Drain and pour peaches on top of melted butter. Mix remaining ingredients and pour on top of peaches.
Bake at 350 degrees until dough is golden.
UUhhggg – I LOVE this recipe. My mother is from the mountains of West Virginia and I’m not sure where she got this recipe but it’s so easy and the dough comes out more like peach dumplings instead of cobbler. So much so it really should be renamed Peach Dumplins’. Try it!, Your gonna love it!
